Research

The questions we are working on as Branches is trialled with ministries.

What turns a response into a relationship?

Every journey moves through responded, matched, accepted and met. Where do journeys stall, and what helps them keep moving?

How should an agent behave around crisis?

Barnabas pauses and brings in a person when someone may be in crisis. How reliably can it notice, and how quickly can a person be brought in?

What does good consent look like for young people?

For 13 to 17, a parent or guardian says yes first. That step should be safe, clear and kind for the young person and their family.

Does the model matter?

Branches runs on the model a ministry chooses. Running the same evals against each one should show how they compare on care and safety.

Informed by Praxis.

Branches is informed by Praxis' redemptive model of entrepreneurship.

We measure what matters to the people involved: whether someone who responded met a person who could help, whether ministries were given only what they had room for, and whether every rule about consent held.
